With this super exciting project, you will build your own personal Roomba style Bump Bot. Learn about circuit diagrams, parallel and series circuits, switches and loads, and the symbols that represent them.

The Materials

Objective and Background Information
Step 1 - Poke out the holes
Step 2 - Screw the arms into place
Step 3 - Attach the stabilizer
Step 4 - Attach the base plate
Step 5 - Screw the bumper in place
Step 6 - Screw the 2 switches in place
Step 7 - Cut the mounting tape square in half
Step 8 - Peel and stick
Step 9 - Peel the other side
Step 10 - Attach the motors
Step 11 - Put the batteries in their holders
Step 12 - Put the battery packs in place
Step 13 - Secure the batteries with rubber bands
Step 14 - Attach the wheels to the motors
Step 15 - Peel the back off the breadboard
Step 16 - Attach the breadboard to the motors
Step 17 - Cut 2 squares of mounting tape
Step 18 - Attach 1 square to Bump Bot's back
Step 19 - Attach the 2 loose black wires to the tape
Step 20 - Connecting the batteries
Step 21 - Connecting the motors
Step 22 - Connecting the switches
Step 23 - Turning Bump Bot on
